Most regional rounds for 2025-2026 have been scheduled and posted on our calendar below. If your city hasn't had a round yet, and you'd like to host one, please contact us.
Rule Updates for 2026
1). For all of our rounds taking place after Jan 01, 2026, scholars will no longer be allowed to use devices, access the Internet, or use outside resources in the debates.
2). In order to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, all students attending the Tournament of Champions must be age 11 or older.
2026 Theme Update
All rounds taking place after Jan 22, 2026 will cover the new 2026 Theme: Are We There Yet?.
Upcoming Regional Events
The Bangalore Round has reached capacity and registrations are closed.
January 23 - Senior Division Day 1 at American School of Bahrain
January 24 - Junior Division Day 1 at American School of Bahrain
January 25 - Combined Day 3, held at Sheikh Abdul Aziz Hall at University of Bahrain
Islamabad Round
Froebel's International School Gulberg Greens and Pak-China Friendship Centre
February 12th will be day 1 for the Junior Division and February 13th will be day 1 for the Senior Division. Both divisions will join together for a combined day 2 on February 14th.
Due to capacity constrains at this round, scholars attending school in Thailand will be given priority to register.
Teams can choose to participate in either this round or the Tokyo (May) Round. Teams may only participate in one regional round per season.
Day 1 will take place at Hsinchu County American School. Day 2 will take place at an external venue TBA.
Due to capacity constrains at this round, scholars attending school in Taiwan will be given priority to register.
The Tashkent Round is open to scholars aged 12 and above. The Junior division age range for this round is 12-13 years old. The Senior division range for this round is 14 years old and up.
The schedule is as follows:
March 23 - Junior Division Day 1
March 24 - Senior Division Day 1
March 25 - Junior Division Day 2
March 26 - Senior Division Day 2
The Istanbul Round has a maximum capacity of 470 participants. Delegations are encouraged to register early.
Due to capacity constrains at this round, scholars attending school in Malaysia will be given priority to register.
The dates for the junior division will be 11 and 13 April and for the senior division the date will be 12 and 14 April.
Day 1 will be held at Mulgrave School
Day 2 will be held at Centennial Theater
April 18 - Junior Division Day 1 at Sunmarke School
April 19 - Senior Division Day 1 at Sunmarke School
April 20 - Combined Day 3, held at The Indian High School Dubai
Please note that there will not be a Cebu Round held in 2026. Any schools wishing to join us from Cebu are encouraged to join the Manila Round.

The Surabaya (April) Round is limited to 600 scholars.

Delegations may register for the Kansai Round either by using the registration form attached below, or with the WSC Japan Committee using this link. Please only register once.

The Beijing Intro Round is open to scholars who have not yet participated in a Regional or Global event in 2026.
