Welcome to the World Scholar's Cup.
In the World Scholar's Cup, teams compete at national and regional meets to qualify for the World Finals. The competition centers on a different theme each year. The 2008-2009 theme is The Fall of Empires.
The World Scholar's Cup isn't about specialization in a single subject; it's about teamwork, thinking on your feet and a willingness to learn new things. You have the opportunity to win both individual and team awards, to bolster your extracurricular record, and to explore new subjects and skills. You share an experience, in person and online, with others around the world.
The 2008-2009 World Finals will be held June 13-14, 2009 at Nanyang Girls High School in Singapore. We invite you to join us.
